Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer Review

Jamie Cortez
The Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer is basically an exercise bike and elliptical trainer mashed together. Is it really a good idea to put these two types of exercise equipment into one machine? The followings are some of the good and bad points for this 2-in-1 trainer. Read them and decide for yourself.

Pros

This machine is cheap! It is only $130 and with only that little money you get both elliptical machine and also exercise bike. The machine is quite small so even if you live in a small apartment this machine can still fit perfectly. This thing is small enough to be put in the closet when you're finish exercising.

For a cheap exercise machine the Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer can do what it supposed to do which is to provide good cardio workout at home either as an elliptical trainer or a basic exercise bike. The resistance levels are adequate to make beginners sweat after 15 minutes of exercise.

Another good thing about this machine is that it strides both forward and reverse. Pretty nice to get some variation during an exercise.

Cons

The first major grief about this machine is the assembly process. To say that it is hard is an understatement. The manual is hard to understand and the parts seem to hate each other and won't go in easily. The second grief is the seat. It is rock hard so your bottom will feel sore after thirty minutes sitting on it.

Next on the list is the short stride length. The short stride makes movements unnatural and just can't compare to gym-quality ellipticals. Another minus point is the noise it makes. This trainer makes squeaking noise and need to be lubed often.

The final grief is about durability. What can you expect from a $130 machine? Not much I'm afraid. The plastic feels like they're going to brake anytime soon and the whole construction just flimsy.

Conclusion

For a $130 machine the Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer is mean for beginners looking for light exercises at home. It is not meant for people looking for more serious exercise and certainly not for those who expect more than a year of service from their exercise machine.
