Confidence Fitness Space Saving X Bike Review

An Affordable Folding Exercise Bike

Jamie Cortez
Plenty of people want a good and reliable exercise bike at home but most of them are not interested in buying bulky commercial-sized bike nor do they have the space to store it at home. Fortunately there are some foldable exercise bikes in the market that can fit this need.

One good foldable exercise bike is the Confidence Fitness Space Saving X bike and here some of the good and bad points of this bike.

Pros

This bike comes unassembled but fortunately it is an easy machine to put together on your own. If you follow the picture you can fit the parts easily without reading the instructions. From start to finish it will take about half an hour.

This exercise bike is compact and once folded can be easily stored in a closet or a corner in your kitchen. Even though it's not super compact but the space saving feature is real.

When you ride it you can fee that the build quality is good and it's sturdy enough even when you pedal fast. The tension adjustment switch is easily reachable so switching between tension is not a hassle.

The bike has adjustable magnetic resistance system which offers quiet operation throughout your exercise plus non-slip pedals. It includes a four-function computer that tracks your riding time, speed, distance, and calories.

Cons

Just like other folding exercise bike this one is also not tall-people friendly. If you are over 5'8" your knees will be bent to uncomfortable positions.

The monitor is also a problem. There is no backlight for the monitor so if you exercise in dim room the number on it is almost unreadable.

Hard seat is another problem of this bike. It's padded but it still hard on your bottom. You may want to spend extra money to buy gel cushion. It really helps.

Lastly, the resistance level is not hard enough for heavy workout. It seems that Confidence Fitness made this bike only for people who just want light exercise daily.

Conclusion

Having an exercise bike at home is really a sound choice when you want to stay in shape but hate going to the gym. If you can spare $140 you should consider buying the Confidence Fitness Space Saving X exercise bike. It is more than sufficient for moderate daily workouts.
