Conflicts with My Inner-Child

My Inner Child

Kurt Evans
When I have conflicts with my inner child, you would think that they would be easy to solve.

My Inner Child

My inner child does a lot of whining, bitching, and moaning. My inner child; would rather roll around in the misery of their own problems than do any kind of problem solving. To my inner child, problem solving is work, and all my inner-child wants to do, is play.

My Inner Child And My Rational Mind

My inner child wants to do wild and wacky things to get people's attention. My rational mind always steps up to the plate to take control of the situation so that I don't make an ass out of myself.

Chaos And Anarchy

When my inner child has control of the reigns, it often leads to chaos and anarchy. Chaos and anarchy are no friends of mine, but my inner child seems to love them. Chaos and anarchy are two things that cause me to crash and burn, and leave behind a heap of destruction. My inner child loves to leave a heap of destruction for my rational mind to clean up.

My Inner Child And Life

I can always tell where my inner child has been, because they always leave a trail to their madness. One of these days, I need to sit down and have a little chat with my inner child, and set them straight about some things. Common sense seems to be something that my inner child doesn't understand. My inner child loves to wreak havoc on the world around them. To my inner child, life is all about the adventure.

My Inner Child Lives

To my inner child, goals are something that they don't have time for. My inner child is all about the moment. My inner child lives in the moment as much as humanly possible. My inner child cries and throws a hissy fit when he doesn't get his way.

My Rational Mind And My Inner Child

My rational mind and my inner child are always interacting with each other. My rational mind is always trying to get my inner child to grow up, but my inner child won't have any part of it. My inner child thinks that if I'm alive and breathing, that it's time to play.

You are a member of the same club as me: "I won't grow up!" I don't want to grow up!" Sometimes, I even stomp my feet, well I at least visualize myself doing that...

You must have been a holy terror as a kid...you can't reason with the little demon, save your breath...I advise you give him a sound thrashing and send him to bed without any supper

This was intriguing. I think we all have an inner child battle from time to time. Feelings over facts. :)

If your inner child doesn't wake up every 90 minutes to be fed, you're doing great.
