Confront Your Creativity!

Sometimes Creativity is Not What You Think!

T. Veblen
You must confront your creativity if you want to live a fulfilling life! Over the years I've heard so many people claim that they just weren't creative. Without creativity there is no joy! There is no excitement, no sense of being complete! I believe everyone is creative in some way. Maybe you can't paint, but can you write? Can't write, can you cook? Can't cook, can you sew?

Everyone has a creative side. Even a dedicated accountant embraces the creativity and satisfaction of numbers, balance and of order. When you turn inward, what do you see in there? Do you just see columns of numbers? Maybe so, but you also probably confront your fears or enjoy the privacy of personal dreaming. That which you hold dear personally, can be the source of your of your creativity.

Creativity is a great river of lava that boils out of your inner volcano and it forms new islands of rich fertile thought. It can impel sluggards into heroic efforts so that the balance of the universe is maintained. All is well with the world when you confront your creativity. I'm not saying you should, "let it all hang out", that's usually just an excuse for bad behavior. What I mean is that you allow your great passion to emerge and to take on substance or a form which will promote creation.

You don't have to do much to achieve success with this approach. Just being there and letting it happen is often enough. Your inner architecture is usually built on a sturdy foundation of vibrant emotions. It is on this dynamic platform that you must build your creative dream world. Just talking about it can be creative! Doing something about it is even easier. Get cracking, don't just sit there.

Get your manuscript out. Go buy new canvas. Invent a new board game. Create a new art form. Treat yourselves to a successful day in your garden. Design a new hat. Create a new kind of food. There are just so many ways to be creative and you don't have to be a Picasso either.

Once you let out that creativity you have to "feed it". So learn to enrich your life with a visit to your family, your church, your museum, your concert hall or your local park. Than lay back and do some dreaming.
