The tears I have cried
Are not for a loved one
But a confused heart
That fails to determine
Whether feelings are true and real.
Dreams have quickly vanished
From my hopeless mind
Searching for another way
To express the emotions
So deeply-rooted within my veins
That carry the energy
To my very last breath,
A breath that, every day,
Breathes your precious name
And wishes for an answer
From the outside world
On whether I can live without you
Standing by my side.
Is infatuation the only reason
For this undying pain,
Or has true love been the factor?
The heart sees no reason.
It only feels,
Feels until it breaks
Under pressure
From the heavy burden of feelings.
Are not for a loved one
But a confused heart
That fails to determine
Whether feelings are true and real.
Dreams have quickly vanished
From my hopeless mind
Searching for another way
To express the emotions
So deeply-rooted within my veins
That carry the energy
To my very last breath,
A breath that, every day,
Breathes your precious name
And wishes for an answer
From the outside world
On whether I can live without you
Standing by my side.
Is infatuation the only reason
For this undying pain,
Or has true love been the factor?
The heart sees no reason.
It only feels,
Feels until it breaks
Under pressure
From the heavy burden of feelings.
