Congressman Peter King [NY]: Stop Coverage of Child Molester, Pervert, Pedophile Michael Jackson

NBC Cuts Off the Rest of His Peter King's Interview

Say what you want about Michael Jackson. Laud his talent and his music. Sympathize with his tragic upbringing and how tragic it is that a great American Hero has passed on. He is a victim of his horrible childhood abuse. He was a musical genius. He wanted to stay forever a child. Peter Pan according to himself; he never wanted to grow up. His childhood was snatched away.

I personally think that he was a musical genius. I loved watching the child, Michael Jackson and listening to him sing. He was phenomenal. I felt sorry for his tainted childhood. His father is a monster. When asked about what he remembered about his son he said that he was the most talented idol in the world. Excuse me? He is your son. I don't care what my child accomplished, I would remember them as my child and how much I loved them. I would be proud of their accomplishments, but number one would be, I would remember them as my child.

I applaud Congressman Peter King for telling it the way he sees it. I completely agree with him. Unfortunately on the NBC news they cut off the rest of his interview. All that they showed was him telling what a pedophile and pervert that Michael Jackson was. They failed to include what he said about there being many other more important people dying everyday that don't get mentioned. People like firefighters, war veterans, educators, and volunteers for dying cancer patients. He said that the media is a disgrace when they continue to cover Michael Jackson like he is an American Hero.

I agree with him. Michael Jackson has been revered and idolized. I feel bad and sympathize with his siblings and children and all that loved him. It is still a loss. He was a human being and a member of a family. Many people loved him. I still believe that he was a child molester and a pedophile. Anyone who has listened to his lies, about only having one plastic surgery, as well as other lies he has told, should question the stories he has told about molesting boys. If you have been molested you will know that it is always the child's word against an adult. There is very rarely visible proof of sexual abuse. Anyone who would stand up against someone like a Idol hero wouldn't stand a chance of being believed or protected. We all see what happened with those who have made claims against Michael Jackson.

Yes Michael Jackson was a victim. That does not give him the right, or any other child molester the right, to become a perpetrator, and then turn it around making themself the victim. Perpetrators always make themselves out to be the injured party. They turn around and make the child victims into the perpetrators. Very sad when many victims of childhood sexual abuse do not become perpetrators. They become defenders of those who have been victims. There is no excuse for a victim to become a perpetrator.

If you have enough money and power you can get away with anything. Look at O.J. Simpson. At least he finally got his. I applaud Congressman Peter King for his guts to tell the truth. You can see the video on utube.

You have a major point about his lies about plastic surgery. I guess he can't be believed. Great article.

I agree that the coverage was too much, but then when it's someone like Michael Jackson, I guess it's to be expected. I thought Peter King went a little too far, myself, in that he didn't need to call him names and make allegations Jackson had been cleared of. Well written article, Shana.

I will have to live with the fact that after all the joy and wonderment Michael Jackson gave me, my grief for his passing has been been more acute in the knowledge I could have done more during his trial. Those fans who stood outside the courts, far from being insane devotees were the only people, apart from Geraldo and his family who really made their support physical. Geraldo's support was palpable and humane and it is in hindsight we can see the huge professional risk he took, in light of the widespread hostile court of public opinion prevalent at the time. Geraldo allowed the issue of reasonable doubt to at least have some air-time. What people fail to realize is that the level of defence Jackson's team was required to provide was actually higher than most ordinary cases. Jackson was proved to be innocent, yet still Bill Reilly and King deride Michael's memory while his children survive him . Their actions, contemptible and indecent, echo the bias Michael faced while alive.

Well done Secretsides. I hadn't caught Peter Kings comments so I am glad you published this.

You obviously don't know much about child molesting. Just because they didn't believe that he molested that kid, doesn't mean that they don't believe that he is a child molester. Any moron knows that you don't sleep in the same bed with strangers kids.

I have no doubt that he is a child molester? Were you at the trial? I think not. I've heard evidence to the contrary. If it were true, he would have been convicted. I agree he had starnge habits but that does nto make him a pedophile.

Interesting how the then child accusing MJ of molesting has now confessed it was a lie.
