The Glastonbury, Connecticut Audubon Center is hosting three difference Harvest and Halloween events. The first is a family celebration for Halloween.
Glastonbury Halloween Eve Event
This special Halloween event is just for children aged between three and five. It takes place on October 30 from 1 to 2pm. Children are invited to dress up in their best Halloween costume and come to the center to learn about all those little creepy crawly creatures that are common in Halloween themes such as, spiders.
To take part in this Glastonbury Halloween activity it will be necessary to book a place in advance. To do this call 860-633-8402. The price for members is $10 and $13 for non-members.
Owls, Turkeys, Ducks & Eagles, Oh My!
This is a great Thanksgiving celebration just for little ones aged between 1 and 3. It takes place on a number of days: November 20, 27 and December 4 and 11. All events are held from 10am until 11am at the Glastonbury Audubon Center.
This fun Harvest event will teach children about local owls, turkeys and ducks. They will learn where they live when wintertime comes around. The cost is $10 per session for members or $14 for non-members. The member price for all four sessions is $30 and $40 for non-members.

This is the same theme as the just mentioned Glastonbury Harvest event but for children aged between 3 and 5. There are four sessions that take place on November 20, 27 and December 4, 11; all from 1 to 2pm.
Children for this event should come dressed for going outside.
The final Connecticut Audubon Center Harvest Event to inform you about takes place at the Pomfret Audubon Center. The Pomfret Harvest event is called 'Calling All Owls' Nightime Prowl. It is open to those of all ages to enjoy and takes place at 5pm, on November 11.
Participants will be guided by the Promfret Sanctuary Manager, who is an expert Owl Howler, in search of the local Owl residents. They will get the chance to hear and see the different Owls types that live in the area. It is suggested that if you own some binoculars to bring them along.
