Connecting the Dots on Obama

Who is Barack Obama?

Due to complete abdication of responsibility by the mainstream press, many Americans are apparently ready to vote for a man they know virtually nothing about. We have heard about Obama's role as a "community organizer" - with implied righteousness - while in actuality, this work was rooted in the radical agenda of the American left.

The history begins long before Barack's birth, when his grandfather sought out a high school for his daughter (Barack's mother) in the Seattle area because it was known to be run by an admitted communist. In Hawaii, his grandfather made sure that a young Barack met and spent time with a man named Frank Marshall Davis, an admitted member of the American Communist Party and an outspoken newspaper writer and labor organizer. While Barack at that time may not have realized it, these contacts certainly laid the groundwork for the left-leaning associations and sought-out contacts of his later education and professional life.

The legacy of Obama's form of "community organization" is rooted in the teachings of Saul Alinsky, a Marxist radical, who envisioned a slow, gradual "revolution" against capitalism - by infiltrating social institutions such as churches, unions and political parties. During his undergraduate years at Columbia, which have been totally ignored by the media, he certainly was exposed to the teachings of sociologists Cloward and Piven. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy", first proposed in a 1966 article, seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. Over the past 40 years in this country, that is exactly what transpired - the more that was given, even more was demanded. During the early 1970's in New York City, radical social organizations pursued the strategy to perfection and by 1975 had literally bankrupted the city...eventually (over a decade later), a Republican (Rudi Guiliani) was elected and the dangerous trend was reversed.

The country's most recent "crisis" involves the housing market. Because of a constant push by liberals to remove impediments (like income levels, job stability or literally, ability to repay) that prevented poor people from obtaining mortgages, we now have crisis and danger of collapse in the economy. Much of Obama's work following graduation involved (directly or indirectly) the group known as ACORN, founded by another 1960's radical Wade Rathke. Instrumental in passing the Motor Voter Act in 1993 (conceived by Piven, above) which minimized identification standards, ACORN's goals are to 1) register as many Democrat voters as possible (legal or not); 2) to overwhelm the system with random, multiple and contrived registrations, and 3) to make it difficult to "police" the process, opening the door for fraud. As news reports have revealed recently, they have been all too successful in those efforts.

Other radicals that Obama has sought to associate himself with include Reverend Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Antoin "Tony" Rezko and Rashid Khalidi. Reverend Wright, whose teachings include Black Liberation Theology, seeks to right the racial sins of the past with "economic parity" in the present. This is simply another form of socialism/Marxism which seeks to transfer wealth from the "rich" to the "victim" class. Barack chose to travel a substantial distance to attend this church, with his family, and to participate in loathing of his country while enhancing his black "street cred". In Bill Ayers, Obama found a mentor and benefactor in the world of Chicago politics - and yet another 1960's radical (now legitimized) that provided an established conduit to a world of government and charitible grant money to be used to shape education. Ayers used Obama as the "face" of these radical programs, while Obama became the up-and-coming star of the Democratic Party. Now-indicted Tony Rezko was the moneyman behind many Illinois politicians, including Barack Obama - in a typical, one-hand-washes-the-other way, Rezko provided or helped arrange the ready cash that a fast-moving politician required, in exchange for support on multi-million-dollar publicly-funded housing developments. For years, both as a lawyer and later in his early political career, Obama had dealings with Rezko, including a questionable "sweetheart" real estate deal for his personal residence. Rashid Khalidi, Columbia (and former University of Chicago) professor of Middle East studies is yet another radical association, known for his support of the PLO and his anti-Iraeli statements. Barack and Michelle Obama are reported to have been "frequent" dinner guests of Khalidi; an LA Times story revealed the existence of a video tape showing both were present at a dinner and discussion that turned anti-Semetic and rather ugly (because of that, the LA Times is refusing to release the tape).

It is obvious, from the people who surrounded him during his formative years, and the people with whom he has chosen to associate during his adult life, that Barack Obama is the first true socialist ever to run for President on a major party ticket. On Election Day, conservatives (who are still a philisophical majority in our country) need to turn back the steady encroachment of socialism and once again defend our freedom, and the capitalist system, by voting against Barack Obama.

  • Obama raised by avowed communists
  • Obama sought out and associated with radicals
  • Obama's entire life focused on socialism
The list of leftist "radicals" that are past-or-present associates of Barack Obama is striking...and seems to continue to grow!
