Connie Hamzy, Groupie to the Rock and Roll World, Details Exploits on Howard Stern Show

During an interview on the Howard Stern Show, Connie Hamzy, the famous groupie from Little Rock Arkansas, named Alex Van Halen and Don Henley as her two favorite lovers, and revealed that Peter Frampton enjoyed cross dressing. Hamzy also discussed her experiences with then governor Bill Clinton.

She said Clinton had propositioned her, though they never actually consummated a sexual act as the place they were in, which was a laundry room in a hotel in north Little Rock, Arkansas, was not as private as they had wanted it.

Hamzy was interviewed by Stern, and typical of the Stern style, the questions were frequent, blunt and no-holds barred.

Hamzy discussed her experiences with rock stars and musicians including Van Halen, Henley, all the male members of Fleetwood Mac, Gene Simmons, Rick Springfield, Eddie Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar, David Lee Roth, Charlie Watts, Paul Schaffer, all the members of ZZ Top and the former Tonight Show band leader Doc Severinsen.

Hamzy is immortalized in Grand Funk Railroad's "We're An American Band", and is arguably the most notorious rock groupie of all time. It seems that there was nothing she wouldn't do and no rock star she wouldn't sleep with.

While many probably find her stories over the top, demeaning and downright gross, through the years her stories seem almost quaint. Much of what went on was prior to the AIDS scare of the mid and late 1980's and she is almost a, uh, time capsule of rock and roll history. Stern even joked that Hamzy should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Though he seemed to mean it as a joke, it may not be as farfetched as it seems on the surface.

Today, Hamzy, who will turn 56 soon, is beyond her prime 'groupie years', though she said her most recent rock star conquest was Eddie Van Halen a few years back.

For the most part, Hamzy has good things to say about most of her conquests, though she maintains that Bill Clinton lied about their encounter (she says he approached her and they almost performed a specific sexual act, while he claims she approached him and he refused her advances.

When asked about her favorite lovers, Hamzy debated between Alex Van Halen and Henley, though said ultimately it was probably Van Halen.

She did reveal embarrassing details about Peter Frampton, saying he wasn't well endowed and that he enjoyed wearing her panties.

Probably one of the most decadent rock star decadent stories involved Henley. Hamzy says she was in a private plane with him and suddenly felt another set of hands on her. She realized it was the pilot of the plane. She said she was concerned about who was flying the plane, but Henley said it was okay as it was 'on auto-pilot'.

It was unclear if Henley meant the plane or Connie Hamzy.
