The Reviewer
Rapper Consequence is known by most of the general public due to his association with Kanye West. He was one of the first artists signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music label. What the public does not know about Consequence is that he is one of the most talented rappers in the game. He has the ability to go bar for bar with almost any rapper in the game. Movies on Demand 2 is a sequel to 2010's Movies on Demand. Will Consequence be able to live up to his own lofty standards?

Got Me Trippin' features a sample of Amerie's hit single 1 Thing. The way the track is switched up from the original is remarkable. The song is very well put together and sonically interesting.

Bun-B, Rell and Fame of M.O.P. join Consequence on Wet the Block. The song is definitely one of the harder tracks on the mixtape. All the rappers involved deliver strong verses and Rell adds a solid hook.

On 1st Time, Consequence is joined by Talib Kweli. The track is very smooth and has a radio friendly feel even though it showcases a strong lyrical display. It is hard to go wrong with a Marvin Gaye sample.

Fake I.D. features Q-Tip, Large Professor and Havoc of Mobb Deep. The track touches on Consequence ghostwriting for other artists. The production is very simple and repetitive but solid.

On I'm V.I.P. Consequence is joined by Diggy Simmons and Mac Miller. The song features a prominent Notorious B.I.G. sample. Consequence once again delivers witty punchlines over a repetitive beat. The highlight of the track surprisingly is Reverend Run's son Diggy Simmons. The sixteen year old shows that soon he might be the best rapper in the game.

An Anita Baker sample joins Consequence and XV on Holla at Somebody. The song will automatically catch the listener's attention from the famous sample. XV and Consequence both deliver strong verses as well.

It's the Cons Fool is a lyrical display from Consequence to showcase his ability. The track is only a verse long but it is definitely interesting.

Up Against the Wall features Roc Marciano and Kendrick Lamar. The song features very different sounding production and a thumping drum beat.

Money Talk is one of the smoothest tracks on the album. The minimalist production showcases Consequence's lyrical ability. Unfortunately the track is only a verse long.

Consequence once again shows that he is one of the most talented lyricists in the game. You can definitely hear his influence in Kanye West's music. Overall Movies on Demand 2 gets 8 out of 10. If you are a fan of Consequence make sure you pick up his latest mixtape Movies on Demand 2.
