Conservative Michelle Malkin and Conspiracy Theorist Alex Jones Square Off at DNC

Robert Dougherty
Michelle Malkin and Alex Jones are two people as far apart politically as one can imagine. Michelle Malkin is a right-wing columnist whose views rankle almost as many people on the left as Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly. Alex Jones, on the other hand, is the head of the "9/11 truth" movement that tries to prove the Bush administration destroyed the Twin Towers and framed Arabs for it just to go to war. With Michelle Malkin on the far-right and Alex Jones as an anti-Bush conspiracy theorist, mixing those two together would make for high powered and perhaps dangerous theatrics. Those type of results are exactly what happened at the Democratic National Convention yesterday.

FOX News sent Michelle Malkin, normally a newspaper columnist, to report on the actions outside the Democratic National Convention. Protestors and anarchists outside the Democratic National Convention are already trying to make headlines, with some trying to recreate the riots of the 1968 convention.

Malkin showed up at a protest for people that want to levitate the Denver Mint on Tuesday. The event was also attended by Alex Jones, the radio host and 9/11 conspiracy theorist. At some point during the protest, Jones spotted Malkin and began to alert the crowd to her presence.

Bloggers and others were able to capture the subsequent madness and post it on Youtube in no time. Jones yelled out that Malkin "wants to put Americans in camps" before pointing her out to the crowd. Malkin has drawn ire in the past for expressing support for America's Japanese-interment camps during World War II.

Jones continued to yell at Malkin and her FOX team as the crowd began to get more vocal. Jones commented that "It looks like that evil is starting to get to your soul" while also repeating some of his 9/11 conspiracy charges. Soon the crowd, which had chanted "Love, Peace and Justice" just a few minutes earlier, began to chant "Kill Michelle Malkin!" Whether Jones actually yelled those words himself is unknown.

The video of Jones and Malkin's confrontation hit Youtube in no time and instantly provided fodder for right-wing and left-wing blogs covering the Democratic National Convention. No police were seen getting involved in the confrontation.

There is an addendum to this story proving that Jones is a cowardly bully, I know I was there. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/991808/judge_for_yourself_alex_jones_confrontation.html?cat=8

sigh... another sophomoronic report by a nobody who knows nothing about what our movement is about. Anyone who perpetuates this slanderous jerk-off-fest will be held accountable and have a suit brought upon them for defamation of character.

Alex Jones is a national hero. He exposes False Flag terrorism and makes movies, all of which are available for free on Google video. Terrorstorm is my favorite, but Endgame is also great! He is sometimes a bit loud, but is peaceful and did not call for any harm to Malkim.

    To talk about conspiracies!

Jones just busted that piece of trash for setting him up. That was one of her own guys acting like he was with Jones yelling "kill michelle malkin".

Jones is a journalist covering the "Recreate '68" movement within the Dem's Convention.

As one would imply, he is COVERING these events, and there is more than enough audio and video evidence on Jone's various sites and others that make the actual situation crystal clear.

Jones is aggressive, opinionated, dedicated and passionate.

He has not, did not, and is not likely to be someone who calls for anyone else's demise.

Even the journalist above could have taken 20 minutes to watch the actual footage and discerned that this accusation
    is nothing but a slander.

This kind of negative attention really speaks to Jone's importance as a real journalist, as opposed to most of the mainstream writers who seem to have an allergy to anything approaching an objective truth.
