Conservative Savagery

I often analyze the conservative / liberal debate and while the conservatives come down on the side of the right to own property and defend yourself the GOP is not the party of freedom and liberty. Oh conservatives talk about liberty all the time and small government, but at the same time they want to deny gays the right to marry or deny people birth control. They support the killing of prisoners but admit that the justice system cannot guarantee 100% that said prisoners are guilty. Lets take a look at some conservative positions

Small government: Conservatives talk big about small government and deregulation. Let the free market decide is a staple of conservative dialog on the issues. What they don't tell you is that a lot of the government they want to get rid of is their to protect you from another form of tyranny, that of the business community. Labor laws and safety regulations by agencies such as OSHA and minimum wage laws are there to protect you the citizen from irresponsible even criminally minded corporations whose priorities are not providing you with work and seeing to it that your quality of life is maintained but how many bags of product you can pack in an hour in some sweat shop. These criminals actually believe you have the gravest responsibility to sacrifice your self and come into work sick, work hours upon hours of over time give up your week ends and put their corporation first while they shove their advertisements in every ones face and crank out every one sided scam on the public that they possibly can. They have no social responsibility and could care less about the quality of life of the populous. To them it's winner take all and if the country turns into a 3rd world nation so much the better for them as wages will be lower. After all, it's hardly going to affect these parasites unless of coarse they happen to loose their fortunes and end up in a sweatshop them selves. But the criminal element hardly thinks that far ahead. The brutal mutilation of the lives of countless innocent citizens into slavery, savagery!

Conservative views on human sexuality are perhaps the most savage of all, coming strait from some tribal right complete with a screaming witch doctor with a bone stuck through his nose. In the conservative view, sex is for an institution they dreamed up called "marriage" where men and women get a "marriage license" or license to have sex and their personal relationship is sanctioned by the state. At one time there were actually laws about men and women "cohabitating" Any sex outside this marvelous institution of theirs is absolutely frowned upon. See, to them, sex is about reproduction not about having fun or expressing affection for some on you admire. It's about reproduction. Sex is for the purpose of having children and living your life in the context of the "family" and practicing "traditional family values". People who are not married absolutely must not have sex because what if the woman gets pregnant? Well, there's an abortion clinic just down the road where a few bucks can remedy the situation and the woman can get back to her life. Of course the average conservative has blotted this possibility completely out of their mind, it's like abortion doesn't even exist. (I have to pause here a bit to laugh at the belligerent, child like stupidity) They are so narrow, bigoted and buried in their worldview that they are incapable of comprehending that another one might exist. Again these people have child like minds. Lets not forget how conservative s know this stuff? Why the Bible tells them! Can't you just see the witch doctor prancing around, face painted, shrieking around the fire? Yes a book, written thousands of years ago by drunken sheepherders is going to dictate government policy. This is not government based on logic, social science, history or common sense of any kind. This is a tribal ritual based on "faith" and not faith in any thing testable or provable but on faith based in superstition. On rattling voodoo bones and tarot cards, this is brutal, childish, savagery.

The mistakes liberals make are related to too much emphasis on the society and not enough on the individual. Skimp on the bricks and you make a sorry wall. This is how the Soviet Union fell, the worship of the society and socialism. The left just needs to respect human nature more. To be aware that humans are not bees or ants in a colony but much more. You can't take the whole amazing wondrous universe that makes up the individual mind and cram it into a little hole where it becomes a mere sprocket turning in a machine.

If you try , you will fail, you will send the people running wild to degenerate into savagery.
