Consider Moving into Ashewood Apartments in Asheboro, NC

Laura Ward
At 18 years old, my husband (boyfriend at the time) and I found ourselves searching for our first home. We didn't need anything big, fancy or expensive. We simply needed an affordable and safe place to live. We were referred to this apartment community and found exactly what we needed at the Ashewood Apartment complex in Asheboro, NC. The complex has studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

The apartment complex is conveniently located in Asheboro, NC. Because we worked and went to school in Greensboro, NC we were a little concerned with the drive time that would be involved. However, we quickly found out that it was about a 20 minute drive to the city.

We rented out a studio apartment that was the perfect size for us at the time. It had a full size eat-in kitchen, living room and bathroom. You may be wondering about a bedroom-right? There was no actual bedroom. Our bed pulled out of the wall. We actually liked this. When you were ready for bed, you simply pulled the bed down from the wall and then closed it back up when you woke up in the morning. The best part about the studio apartment was that it was furnished. Because we were just starting out, we did not have furniture or appliances. We did not need to worry about it when we lived at the Ashewood Apartments. They provided us with a couch, chair, end table, coffee table, bed and dinette set. All of the appliances were also included.

The grounds were professionally maintained and seemed to stay clean. The playground, pool and basketball court were in good condition and were not overly crowded. However, the laundry facility was hard to get into. Machines were always full and people would leave their stuff in them for hours. Because there was no washer or dryer connection in our unit, this was huge inconvenience when it was time to do laundry.

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. At the termination of our lease there were some misunderstandings that were taken care of. All in all, the Ashewooed Apartments were a great place to live in. If you are looking for a wide variety of luxury amenities or feel the need to have a fancy apartment, these apartments are probably not for you. However, if you just need a safe, cozy and affordable apartment, the Ashewood Apartments will most likely be sufficient.
