I got married five years ago. I wanted an intimate wedding, focusing on simple elegance and delicious food. I has three requirements: I wanted to have a brunch wedding, I wanted the same venue for both the ceremony and the reception, and I wanted to make sure I got to eat (I hear most couples skip this little part of the wedding, due to general socializing and possibly stress).

The moment I walked into Salvatore's, I was in love with the place. It is difficult to describe the atmosphere in words, so I offer you their picture gallery. One thing is certain - the Italian charm will not be easy to escape. The restaurant has three rooms; each can seat over 100 guests. They also have a patio and a bar. If you plan on having your ceremony at Salvatore's, and weather allows, I strongly recommend getting married on the patio. They will change the seating from their regular chairs and tables, to a line of chairs and an aisle, and then will change it back again after your ceremony so that your guests can enjoy the reception outside.

As far as reception goes, you can book the whole restaurant or mix and match the rooms. All the rooms are separated by French doors and windows, and the space easily opens up to accommodate a larger group. Our seating had round tables, seating approximately eight to ten people. We had a family style menu. Here is my must have - get the Spicy Shrimp with Avocado on a Toast Point from the Hors D'Oeuvres menu. It is the most delicious bite-size goodness you've ever tasted.

The restaurant will work with you and any other vendors you have chosen to create the exact atmosphere you want for your special day. They have wedding planners on site and they can assist as much or as little as you want them to. They have coat room service and valet parking, so make sure to inquire about those services when you make your plans.

Here are the perks. The food tasting is available at a nominal charge and you should most definitely do it and bring people with you. If you are looking for a venue where good food is a must, these folks are it. Also, the wedding coordinator we worked with made sure to send us home with leftovers the day of our wedding. This was the most amazing added touch given that we ate very little during the day.

If you are looking for elegance and a great service, make sure to visit Salvatore's. They will go above and beyond to make your event great. Their information is:
