I held in my sights,
by the power of might
I went over the seas
I was master of the land
Everything held in my hands
I came from nothing
I found my way
In shadows that play in a lost land of dismay
But in all these places,
I never once felt safe or any kind of halation,
I want to see the true life of creation
I suddenly hear the words spoken,
Never heard them before .
And my heart sang out to my Lord.
Across the steel and pain
The message came,
Through the tears and screams it still remained
I heard them singing my name
Angles dancing in the rain
And the people thought me insane
They came from miles
To see the King change his name
The cross is now his fame
