Constipation Signs

Constipation - First one must recognize if they are really constipated. Regularity differs from one individual to the next according to most doctors. One person might have a bowel movement three times per day while the next might only have three or four per week. So, first make sure that you are really suffering constipation and not comparing yourself to a friend or relative who has frequent bowel movements. One bowel movement every other day might be the norm for you.

Constipation Diagnosis - Researchers found that those people who are really constipated usually have many similar symptoms that might happen abruptly over a long period of time or gradually. These symptoms usually include the following. They often strain a lot in the bathroom. Think about it. Are you straining more than normal?
They constantly feel gassy and bloated. This is a usual symptom. And not because they just ate a chili dog.
They produce hard bowel movements. One of the most common symptoms.

All the above symptoms point to a problem with constipation which is a concern for many. Most people suffer an occasional problem with constipation and resort to all sorts of cures. This could be anything from changing eating habits to taking a laxative. For stubborn constipation one should consult their doctor for more information.
