Consumer Lunacy

Buddy Reed
People care too much about money.
They forget to rely on the one known as giver.
Yet, everyone is Christian when they turn blue.
With unboundful greed people can't wait.
It eats at their soul, right down to lunacy.
With no brain left all thats left is Death.

When it comes, this entity called Death,
Everyone remaining has disgust for money.
Kins men weeping out in lunacy.
Wishing that your demise would wait.
Praying for your acceptance at the home of the giver.
Weeping from their oculus a bright hue of blue.

Away went your cash as the wind blew.
Without your coin there is no food; leads to Death.
With no grub you get small and lose too much weight.
Still there is a need for currency called money.
When you believe you recieve a good job from the giver.
Too much or too little cash can cause lunacy.

One called a glutton have been delievered to lunacy.
They eat and ingest till they choke and turn blue.
Over eating a sin was labeled by the one known as giver.
No reward for them when they pass on and meet death.
No way into heaven can't buy it with money.
In Hell gluttons burn where they eternally wait.

I have more to say please stay and wait.
I suffer from my own declaration of lunacy.
I buy merchandise and spend all my money.
I try to stop myself ; hold my breath till I'm blue.
I hope it will end before I'm introduced to Death.
So I may sit by the atherial throne of my giver.

We ask for our guidance to come from our giver.
We kneel and we pray as we lay and we wait,
For the dark one who comes bearing Death.
This long silent time guides sweet lunacy.
As I lay on my back all I see is a canopy bright and blue.
With little thought of this evil necessity called money.

Unlike this disease that's address as lunacy,
The sky is so calm no clouds blocking blue.
I despise our currency, coin, cash, or money.

I enjoy your seeming confession, and perhaps the burden of pushing coins up hills- much like Dante's pushing stones up hills. Also, the often repeated "blue", which is an archetype for communication, yet the contrast is the denial of heaven. Interesting, and I hope you write more =-)
