Lounge Chairs and Recliners
Rankam Group Ltd., of China has manufactured lounge chairs and recliners that have been distributed by Dick's Sporting Goods. Appoximately 125,000 of these products have been purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods stores nationwide and at their website, from February 2006 to August 2007. They were sold for between $40 and $80. The product has been recalled because the plastic support brackets can break and cause the chairs to collapse. Currently there have been 19 reports of the chairs and recliners collapsing, including 17 injuries involving lacerations and back pains.
Styles of the recalled lounge chairs and recliners are:
Lazy Lounger chair (Style # CEH00415)
Recliner (Style # CEH00320)

You will find the numbers printed on the packaging. These chairs have a mesh covering that attaches to a black or tan metal frame by a woven cord. The mesh covering is blue, orange, black, natural, burgundy, pink, white, green, red, khaki or camouflage. It comes with a padded headrest pillow that is sewn on. Under the headrest you will find two tags. The first tag says "! WARNING !",and it is followed by 9 numbered statements, and "Made in China". The second tags says "Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law" tag and has the manufacturer's Registration No: OHIO36462HK.

Approximately 36,000 of these ornaments made in China, have been distributed by Reeves International Inc. and sold nationwide by retailers including the JC Penney catalog and Web site, from July 2006 through October 2007 for between $15 and $18. There has been no reported incidents or injuries at this time.

The 2007 Photo Frame Horse Shoe Ornament is a horse shoe shaped ornament with a brown horse with rider jumping over a gate. "Happy Holiday 2007" is marked on the back of the ornament. The reason for recalling these ornaments is that the paints on the ornaments contain high levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standards. Power Bolt" Y-Frame and Ultimate Y-Frame Adjustable Pitchbacks
Approximately 57,000 of these products made by Hierarch Enterprises Co. of China, have been distributed by Dick's Sporting Goods. Dick's Sporting Goods sold these products at retail stores nationwide and on their Web site. The Power Bolt Y-Frame Pitchback was sold from November 2002 to July 2007 for $70. The Power Bolt Y-Frame Ultimate Pitchback was sold from February 2005 to July 2007 for $100.
The reason for the recall is because the upper portion of the frame can collapse after both locking pins are removed and this poses a laceration hazard. At this time, three reports of finger or hand laceration injuries have been reported.
Consumers are to stop using these products immediately and contact Dick's Sporting Goods for a free repair kit.
