Consumer Review of El Matedor Cantina in Atlanta, Georgia

Are you new to the area of Atlanta, Georgia? Are you always in search for a great Mexican Restaurant and tired of the same boring dishes that some restaurants serve? You will want to try El Matedor Cantina off Garrett Street in Atlanta, Georgia the next time you are in the area.


This restaurant has a very friendly staff, a clean facility and they have a outdoor patio section, as well as a separate bar area. There is shopping centers near by and they offer tables or booths for your dining enjoyment.


Some of my favorite dishes this restaurant serves is their vegetarian tofu taco which is very tasty. You must also try their black bean soup which is under $4.00 dollars a bowl, but full of flavor.

Another favorite dish of the restaurants I've tried is their Pollo Fundido. This is a grilled chicken breast and they marinate it in lime juice and tequila and then its smothered in white cheese sauce and served with Mexican rice and re fried beans.

They have some of the best tasting Margarita's in town. They also serve a kid's menu as well as desserts, salads, soups and a great fried chicken taco, that is loaded with lettuce, tomato and sour cream and battered fried chicken strips.

The hours of operation for this establishment is Monday through Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00 am and then on Sundays 11:30 am till 12:00 am. You can come and have a seat at the bar and watch the game on one of the many big screen televisions.
