Daily wear lenses are used again and again. You can wear them for one day but you take them out when you go to bed or take a nap. Each time you take out the lenses, you clean and rinse them.
Extended wear lenses can be left in for up to 30 days, even while you sleep. After 30 days, you take the lenses out and clean and rinse them. These lenses can cause small sores to appear on your eye if worn too long.
