I am heavily seasoned and basting in this Contest Euphoria. I laugh and boast myself the top Contest Contestant. I tell my friends: "Get out of my way. I found another contest to enter." They no longer try and counsel me of all the perils about not getting my hopes up in winning. Too late! I am over the edge. Contests! Contests! Contests! I have fill-out-formitis.
I have entered up to 84 contests at one time. Right now I am entering around 50 Enter Daily ones and about 15 Enter Weekly ones. I enter some for cash, some for cars and some for various appliances. I enter for backyard barbecues, home and body makeovers. Here a form. There a form. Everywhere a form-form.
My favorite contest is the one I have just started entering to win something for a $1 million. I'd tell you what it is but you might get the jump on having more entries than me and I might have to find where you live. Now THIS one is a dream contest. I even have reminders sent to me to enter. Ha! It is HIGHLY unlikely that I will forget. The stakes are high and so are my hopes in winning.
I have won 2 things in my 57 years. Keep in mind that I just started doing this and it has already developed into a full-blown career. One that hasn't paid enough to feed, clothe or keep the phone from being turned off, but a career nonetheless. I have won a cinnamon twist online from one of my favorite restaurants and a beautiful pink electric razor, that lasted one year, from a local craft fair . I need to write a book called: My Ensuing Contest Career. I anticipate major Contest Cash-In before I reach 60. Ha, ha, ha! I do like to dream.
Hark and behold! What is that sound in the distance? I have figured out the marvel to receiving voice notification that I have a new contest to enter. It is the excited voices of everyone living in my household. Woo-Hoo! We have quickly become a close knit Family of Contest Coo-Coos. There IS a method to the madness. We have figured out the system.
Our motto:
The family that enters together wins together.
Living the Dream
