My biggest resolution this year is to continue becoming more productive. The past few months have been quite good for me. I have made myself motivated, and stay on top of things. The only thing i have on my mind is that I might begin to slack off. I want to make my resolution to continue this upward incline of production. I want to make sure I become more motivated to learn and to love the things that I am required, and sometimes not required, to do.
My tips to keep your biggest resolution this year:
1.) Pick a goal that has to do with something you are doing now and that is also plausible.
2.) Motivate yourself by becoming interested in what you have to do
Try to find interesting parts of your work, or find the proccess relaxing or fun. Find something positive in you requirements.
3.) Remind yourself.
Make sure you remind yourself of things you must do. Set notes, calenders, anything that is a good reminder
4.) Take breaks
Never push yourself for too long of a period. Continuous breaks on a schedule can help you to relax into your work.
5.) Don't be a perfectionist!
Wasting time on unimportant details or trying to become perfect at something that needs to be done is pointless! You can do a good job, if not a perfect one, in less time!
Now go and make a resolution and KEEP it!
