She obviously has a wonderful talent for invoking the participation of her peers. Have you ever considered doing this on purpose? She is!!! And so are 199,142 members - Real estate professionals talking to each other, aggregating listings and hyper local and industry-specific data, making money right through the recession, and even having fun! They are even uploading their listings now, and the organic search traffic the site gets actually hooks Realtors to consumers. Now I ask you why aren't other niches doing this? The answer is simpler than you think: real estate is the early adoption industry always on the cutting edge because of the money.

The simple fact is everybody will be doing it. but there is a problem: too much information, too many profiles, information overload, too much spam, not enough quality. The answer to these problems is actually simpler than you think:

• If you need to reach a lot of people, with very little money, the social networks and organic search are your only options.

• The social networks and people in general are overloaded with info and data, so that is not as easy as it used to be.
• 
  
• most people do not produce any real content, they either purvey spam, or ads, just basically mess up the landscape.
• 
  
• You must be a content producer of some kind to achieve rankings and traffic, worthless friends you do not know will not do that do that for you.
• 
  
• Good high quality content on any subject will.
• 
  
• If you need to rank on on organic search, you need link popularity form related sites good rankings and related content with contextual links
• 
  
• That is what you get from blogging correctly
• 
  
• If you need to rank on tall searches you need to aggregate geographically specific and or niche-specific information.
• 
  
• This can be done by participating in niche communities, groups, lists, and forums.

• If you are content producer you can rank and get traffic. If you are a content aggregation site you have the power to rank others. If you are a power-blogger, established on a large network like myself, you have an audience that reads whatever you write.

  If your content is low quality you are a spammer and you obsolete.
