In a poll taken not long ago, the results said that 22% of married men have cheated at least once over the course of their marriage and that 70% of married women had no clue that their spouses were unfaithful. The internet may have even exacerbated the problem, in some ways, because now straying hubbies and/or boyfriends don't have to restrict themselves to just going to bars or clubs to meet women, but can hook up with them in chat rooms. Some "cyber" relationships can move from online communication to face-to-face sexual encounters.
The discovery of infidelity in a marriage can leave the cheated-on wife feeling extremely betrayed, angry and disillusioned. Understandably, these women feel a need to vent their rage, but don't know where or how to do this.
There is now a website that offers them the opportunity to express themselves and even gives them the chance to expose cheaters and abusers. That website is CheaterNews.com. I had touched on this site briefly in my earlier article, Women, Love and Revenge: Is Getting Back the Answer? , but wanted to find out more information on what this intriguing and highly controversial website is all about.
The motive of CheaterNews.com appears to be that it strongly believes that victims of infidelity have the right to speak out about their own personal experiences, which they are able to do, anonymously, on the site's message board. The forum has sections divided by state, as well as sectons for those from Canada, Australia, the UK and the Philippines, where detailed accounts of incidents of cheating by spouses and/or boyfriends can be given. The chief controversy comes from the fact that the "specifics" might include the names of the offender, as well as the name of the person he has cheated with and may sometimes reveal where these individuals are employed or where their social hangouts are.
Some typical examples of stories that are posted tell about:
...A man who not only cheated on his spouse, but allegedly gave her an STD.
...A woman who found out a man she dated cheated on her with both another woman and a man.
...A married man, apparently in a mid-life crisis who dates and impregnates college girls
....A frustrated wife who describes how another woman relocated from another state and moved into a house just a block away from hers, in order to pursue her husband.
...A barfly of dubious reputation who slept with someone else's husband. (The person's photo is even posted).
...A preacher who is a convicted abuser and cheater with herpes
..A husband who is having an affair with a co-worker and who even called the woman from the hospital the same day his wife was giving birth to their child
These are merely a few of the dramatic stories found on CheaterNews.com. In all fairness, the forum does allow posts from those with opposing viewpoints.
The site also provides helpful articles and practical advice on how a spouse can spot warning signals that her significant other might be straying.
There are those who passionately support CheaterNews.com, because they honestly believe that this site is a way to publicly expose men who are prone to unfaithfulness, in order to warn other women who might unwittingly come in contact with them. They also appear to believe that predatory females who go after other women's men deserve to be exposed.
On the other hand, there are some who see CheaterNews.com as invasive and potentially dangerous, due to the fact that it reveals the identities of cheating men and also discloses, in some cases, who their female partners are. Those who find their personal information posted on the forum may see themselves as "victims", fearing embarrassment, harassment and potential retaliation that could be harmful.
Do those who share their experiences on this site do it to get some justice or is their motivation simply based on pure revenge?
No matter which side of this issue you stand on, nobody can deny that CheaterNews.com is a place that generates hot conversation and fiery debate.
I suggest that you check it out and form your own opinion.

Post a CommentAustin Texas, Greg Clouse-my husband of 8 years-GM of all Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park Aamco centers - is a liar and a cheater. this is the second time that I have caught him. My fault for being more than once. All women beware!!!! He is pretty smooth.....Yes, he is going through his mid life crisis at 53 years old... No excuse!!! I am done with him. However, would like to warn anyone else of him. Plus, he will not have any money to spend on you when I am done. :)
Over hearing a conversation between my husband and his friend. His friend was stating he needed one of the hid-a-beds (hiding areas), my husband is a carpenter. So far I have heard a woman's voice in my home twice plus a vibration of cell phone. Years ago hid-a-beds were used by gentlemen to hid their mistresses.
Guest-I hope you are right, but why do you say it is "dead"....the site is still up and running today. do you know something?
that site is mostly just a bunch of idiot women who got cheated on and blame it all on the 'other woman' instead of their husbands. Luckily it seems to be dead now.

this man was involved with a friend of mine then cheats with this other woman who has a husband, this woman sends my friend pics and emails and threats and says oh no she didnt. i have seen these emails and they are disgusting. this woman is demented works for a company in new brunswick and is now threatening to screw up my gf's insurance. her ex what a putz must love to be so manipulated by this other woman or hopefully he will take his blinders off and see her for her true self, a master conniving manipulator who screws around. my gf she is devasted but still loves this man, but she doesn't him hurt like those two have hurt her. I hope Allen Pangburn of wapske new brunswick grows up and sees this new woman who he thinks he is in love with as she really is. A LIAR AND A CHEAT. People beware of Allen Pangburn and Denise Morin of Grand Falls
