Conversational Spanish: Learning Spanish Through Skits - Lesson 5

Here are two skits that I have put together for you to use and to practice with. Remember how the Spanish vowels are pronounced. If you can, get a partner to role play with you. Have fun, and good luck.

Skit 1

Pers. 1: Hola Carlos (Hello Charles)

Pers. 2 : Hola la profesora. (Hello teacher)

Pers. 1 : Carlos, usted estudian la leccion? (Carlos, did you study the lesson?)

Pers. 2 : No, estudio la leccion, Pero estudio la leccion de ingles clase. (No I did not study the lesson. But I did study the lesson for English class.

Pers. 1 : Carlos, es necesitan usted estudian todos el trabajan todos clases. (It is necessary to study all your work for all your classes.)

Skit 2

Person 1 : Hola maria. (Hello mary)

Person 2 : Hola el profesor. (Hello (m) teacher)

Person 1 : Maria, usted pronuncian la palabra por la clase en Ingles. (Maria, you pronounce the word for the class in english.)

Person 2 : El profesor, no estudio la leccion de ingles. (Teacher, I did not study the English lesson.)

Person 1 : Usted no estudian la leccion de ingles? (You didn't study the English lesson?)

Person 2 : No, el profesor. (No teacher)

Person 1 : Maria usted muy mal! La alumnos de Maria pronuncios la palabra casa en Ingles? ( Mary you are very bad. Do any of Mary's classmates want to pronounce the word house in English.)

Person 3 : Yo quero trato. ( I want to try)

Person 1 : Carlos, usted pronuncian la palabra casa en ingles por la clase? (Charles will you pronounce the word house in English for the class?)

Person 3 : Si. HOUSE es la palabra de ingles. (yes, the word is house in English.)

Person 1 : Muy bien Carlos. Carlos, usted estudian la leccion de ingles por la tarde? ( Very good charles. Charles, did you study the English lesson yesterday afternoon?)

Person 3 : Si, estudio la leccion de ingles por la tarde. (Yes I studied the English lesson yesterday afternoon)
