Cookies are good
Cookies are nice
I'll eat half a dozen
Without thinking twice.

A chocolate chip cookie
Would sure hit the spot.
Cookies for breakfast
Just doesn't seem right.
But cookies are great
When you're up late at night.
Cake is good too
And there's always pie
But I really like cookies
And I don't care why.
