Cooking a Frog

So, assuming that Mr. Frog was suddenly plunged into a kettle of very hot water, he would,, as we would, jump right out; not just because he wanted to avoid being cooked (this outcome eludes most, but because the water is hot.

On the other hand, if Mr. Frog is gently immersed into a bath of cool comfortable water it would be so enjoyable and so pleasurable for him that he wouldn't even notice the very low flame that promised to heat up his bathtub, aka, cook pot. He'll continue enjoying the water and savoring his pleasures until the hot water overtakes him and its too late to avoid becoming a savory pleasure himself.

I do not want to be in a position of such comfort that I don't notice the terror, the evil, the darkness that slowly overtakes me, engulfs me, and destroys me.

How do cook a frog? The same way you kill a man's spirit -- little by little by little -- the same way you take

his freedoms, take his livelihood, take his will to be a man -- it is done a little at a time, just like you cook a frog.

You, my friends and neighbors, don't seem to grasp the simple truth set forth above. I plead that you think about what this means and that you sniff the air around you. If you don't think that you're on the menu of, for example, the insurance and banking industries in America, then you have yet to realize that what you smell on the air is you.

Come here in the times ahead to share in the frustrations and fears faced by ordinary Americans trying to do ordinary things while avoiding the cook pot tended by a banking industry run by cannibals, the insurance industry who now largely own health care, a class based criminal justice system and those in the health care industry who want so much to care for us...just so long as it takes them less than 5 minutes and the price is right.
