No Download Cooking Games You Can Play Online

Cooking games are fun way to pass time while online. I have researched cooking games online and have come up with these five cooking games to suit any competitive-natured food fanatic!

1. CDKitchen.com - Oh, I love this site! They have a cooking game that kept me busy for hours - Food PhotoHunt! I am a huge PhotoHunt player. Perhaps I should say I am a PhotoHunt fanatic! This cooking game is fun, the graphics are excellent, and the music is entertaining. Food PhotoHunt gets my vote for best cooking game online.

Cooking Game Notes: Free to play. No sign-up required. Cooking game operates in a pop up window so pop ups cannot be disabled on this cooking game site.

2. pbskids.org - This is a wonderful site that is mainly for kids (but yes, I played it!). Pbs.org has a cooking game called "Cooking with Abuela" that is available in English and in Spanish. Children can pick a recipe and then have to find the ingredients on screen. Children "drag" the ingredients to the counter top. Ingredients can be found inside cabinets, in the refrigerator, and on other counter tops of the virtual kitchen. Different levels of difficulty are also available. I can see this cooking game as being a valuable tool for teachers when teaching Spanish, or when helping our Spanish speaking children to learn English.

Cooking Game Notes: Free to play. No sign-up required. Bright and interesting graphics are of a cartoon nature. Recipes can be printed out.

3.eBaums World - offers "Papas Pizza". The object of this online cooking game is to keep Papas Pizza open by filling pizza orders. You drag and drop ingredients on to the top of the graphic pizza to complete orders that are found to your right. When you complete the order, drag the pizza paddle to put pizza in the oven and begin the next order. My first try at this cooking game, I only kept Papa's Pizza open for 88 days and was informed to "Try harder"!

Cooking Game Notes: Free to play. No sign-up required. Game loads in browser window. Cute Italian music plays in the background with "Papa" grunting disapprovingly in the background when you mess up an order.

Helpful hint: Holding your mouse over an ingredient tells you what it is if in doubt.

4. How To Cook a Turkey - This game is not as much a cooking game as it is informational. I recommend this for anyone who is cooking a turkey for the first time. Main reason I am adding this is because it flat out made me laugh. This cooking game has a nice "twist" to it that should amuse just about everyone. Worht a look.

Notes: Free to play. No sign-up required. Game loads in browser. Makes you laugh.

5. Cadbury Chocolate Machine - The folks at Cadbury have a fun cooking game that is based on one of my favorite foods - chocolate! The object of the game is to mix and make chocolate treats according to order. Fun... and really makes you crave a chocolate fix! Just a hint: No matter how much you want to, don't make too much!

Cooking Game Notes: Free to play. No sign-up. Cooking game loads in browser. Cartoon graphics and fun music.
