Pet Protect
Pet Protect offers free pet id tags to families with dogs that have medical problems. The tags identify the illness and are connected to a national pet registry so that any vet can access vital medical records. These tags could save a lost sick dogs life!

K-9 Down
A national program that trains police officers, fire fighters, and EMT's on how to care for animals. The charity is geared towards saving the lives of working animals such as search and rescue dogs and K-9 Officers. K-9 Down is also dedicated to providing fire departments with canine and feline oxygen masks to help save the lives of family pets.

CHAMPS Kids
CHAMPS stands for Children Against Mines Program. This innovative charity links kids with mine detecting dogs around the world. The CHAMPS fundraiser called "Penny Wars" is a great activity for classrooms or schools. Every 30 minutes someone is killed or maimed by a landmine, CHAMPS hopes to eliminate the world of land mines and save lives.

Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch
Founded by singer, song writer and musician Kinky Friedman Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch is a never kill shelter that rescues animals from kill shelters. The animals may be adopted, but even if they never find a home they are never euthanisized.

Canine Companions
Provides service dogs to children and adults with disabilities. A service dog can provide valuable assistance to disabled individuals, but the dogs require special training which can be expensive, many families just can not afford to own or train a service dog without the assistance of donations and sponsers.

Valley of the Kings Sanctuary and Retreat
Valley of the Kings is a rescue dedicated to exotic animals such as lions and tigers. The exotic animals are abandoned animals, abused animals, and retired animals. It is a regular zoo at Valley of the Kings with animals like bears, lynx, and horses all of whom are also rescued. It costs thousands of dollars every year to feed and house exotic animals.
