Need some help planning an all-girls teen party? I've got some tips that will have you partying like you've never partied before.
Food and Drink
Of course, a party is no party without snacks, food or drinks. Great snack ideas include popcorn, potato chips, soft homemade pretzels and chocolate chip cookies. For the main course, order in a few large cheese pizzas, smoking hot honey barbecue wings, big juicy burgers and delicious hot and cold subs. For drinks, I recommend lemonade and fruit punch, and of course, soda. In my own experiences, they've always been a great hit.
Karaoke
Ask anyone and I bet they'll tell you that karaoke is pretty much every girl's best friend. When we were little, we sang to music and danced to our favorite songs. Our interest in music is probably one of the very few things that stayed with us until now. Whether you're planning your own party with a group of friends or your daughter's sixteenth birthday party, karaoke is sure to win over the hearts of even your hardest to please guest.
Baking
Another fun idea for a smashing teen party is baking. Since most girls have an interest in cooking, this is a good activity to introduce at your all-girls party. Keep it simple so that everyone can understand the steps easily enough and have a good time. If you're hosting a birthday party, making and baking a birthday cake altogether is a great way to celebrate what the party's all about. So get ready to throw some oven mittens on and start baking.
Nails
Next, bring out your nail polish colors and pass them around. Enjoy girl talk as you paint each other's nails. Match the theme of the party by using only those colors fitting. For example, if you're hosting a Christmas party, use only red and green shades.
Exercise
A lot of girls think of exercise as a burden or as a chore. Make exercise more enjoyable by joining together and dancing the night away. Nothing says party time more than shaking that booty to your favorite dance rhythms.
Facials
End the night on a quiet, peaceful note by giving each other a calming and refreshing facial. Then, all you have to do is lay there and relax as you talk and laugh about life.
Now that you've been enlightened, it's time to start planning. Good luck and have a great time with your girlfriends.
