You can create a stir at Halloween by carving a pumpkin based on a popular movie. You can look online to find the pumpkin carving patterns that you need to carve a pumpkin with a design such as Michael Myers and characters or symbols from Batman and Where the Wild Things Are. Michael Myers Pumpkin Carving Patterns Online

Michael Myers is the masked psychotic serial killer who appeared in several installments of the Halloween movie series. You can find scary Michael Myers pumpkin carving patterns in several places on the web. The Zombie Pumpkins! website hosts two Michael Myers patterns in the "Monsters" section of its website. You must pay a small subscription fee to use the patterns on this site. The number of patterns you can download and print depends on the level you choose.

There is also a scary Michael Myers pumpkin carving pattern on the deviantART website. To use this pattern, just click on the image to view it full size, then print it out. Tape the Michael Myers pumpkin carving pattern to the pumpkin, then poke around the outer edges of the black areas using a sharp pointed tool. Then carve out the areas that are represented in black on the pattern.

The release of the movie Where the Wild Things Are in October of 2009 has caused a resurgence in interest in the classic story by Maurice Sendak, which was published in 1963. There are four free Where the Wild Things Are pumpkin carving patterns at the The Pumpkin Wizard website. They include Aaron, Bernard, Max and Moishe. These patterns are rather difficult to carve.
