Cool Off This Summer with Milk Popsicles

And Soy ,Too

Denise
In a recent news report, it said that children in the United States are getting less vitamin D in their diets. This will make them have weak bones and may cause heart disease. What children need-and we all need is more sunshine. Way, way back when I was growing up, children played outside a lot. We didn't stay inside playing video games for hours. So, when you shoo you children out doors, give them these treats when they come back inside!

I really don't know how it started, but my family and I just started making them to see how it would taste-and let me tell you, It is GOOD! Buy some Styrofoam cups, pour in the milk and put it in your freezer for a few hours. Get a spoon and dig in!

Upstate Farms Intense
My favorite of all time is the Mint Chip. Drinking it is perfection itself, but freezing it takes it to a whole new level, especially in this weather. Other flavors are chocolate, strawberry and a new one: Buffalo Bills Birthday Cake. I just tried it this Saturday, and, it does taste and look(blue) like a birthday cake. Mint Chip and Chocolate are my ultimate favorites.

Soy Milk
Frozen Silk Soy milk is delicious. The flavors we have tried were the Chocolate and Very Vanilla flavors.
It's different, but definitely worth trying.

Color It
For some more fun for kids, try food coloring in the milk and then freezing it. Instead of using Styrofoam cups, you can use Popsicle trays.

So, finish off the summer with some frozen milk Popsicles it'll be fun for you, but especially good as well as fun for your children.

Upstate Farms is regular milk. When I talk about Soy Milk, I am referring to Silk, my favorite brand.

I'm confused. Is Upstate Farms a brand of soy milk? Are you talking about soy milk popsicles?

I love soymilk. I guess drinking chocolate soymilk popsicles wouldn't be much different than having a traditional fudgesicle.
