Cool Things Happening in Bedford, Texas in March and April

Bedford Texas is a sleepy little town nestled between Ft Worth and Dallas. Every year it hosts many cool events like the Bedford Blues Fest, Fourth of July Celebration at the Boys Ranch, and of course the annual Easter Egg Hunt also at the Boys Ranch.

This year there is a cool new event at the Old Bedford School. It is the murder Mystery Dinner and Show. The show started in February, and that date is sold out, but there is still time to RSVP for the March show, and shows continue until August. Every show is on a Saturday night, with dinner at 7:00pm and the show at 8:00pm. Tickets cost $35.00 each, group rates of 25 or more are $33.00 each and senior tickets are $33.00. The next show is March 17^th dinner will be catered by Sweet Memories, and all shows are performed by US Actors Company, an acting troupe out of Dallas that has been entertaining for over 25 years. Twilight Thursdays are back. Beginning April 12^th and they will run until September 27^th there will be eight shows to entertain and delight the music lover in all of us. From jazz to classic rock and even Celtic all genres will be covered, there will also be different performers for every show. The concerts are free to attend and will be held on the south lawn of the Old Bedford School. All shows begin at 7pm, and will be held rain or shine. The annual Easter egg celebration is at the Bedford Boys Ranch. You must preregister for this event. Registration is $5.00 per child, and you RSVP by calling (817)952-2323. The Easter egg hunt is for ages 10 and under, and the fee includes an arts and crafts project, a picture with the Easter bunny, a snack and of course the Easter egg hunts. There will be over 8,500 eggs and areas will be marked off by age groups.
