Copper Oxide Pillow Erases Wrinkles, Skin Age
A New Copper Oxide Pillow Promises to Stop Skin Aging and Wipe Away Wrinkles!
The copper oxide pillow was invented when it was found that copper oxide helped with the healing of wounds. A company called Cupron then decided to try to incorporate copper oxide into pillows to see if it would decrease facial lines and wrinkles in your face.
According to the company, clinical trials showed a marked decrease in wrinkles when people using the copper oxide pillow slept on it. The idea is that copper ions released by the copper oxide pillow case helped to fill in facial lines by boosting skin collagen. Collagen in your skin experiences a production decrease as you get older, leading to thinner skin and wrinkles around your eyes and mouth.
Whether or not you can believe the copper oxide pillow study when it was sponsored by the company that sells the copper oxide pillows is a different matter. Regardless, people are buying the copper oxide pillow cases in record amounts. According to the Telegraph, more than ten thousand people have bought copper oxide pillows and copper oxide pillow cases (source).
Should You Buy a Copper Oxide Pillow Case?
Your decision to buy a copper oxide pillow is personal. However, one has to question how honest the copper oxide pillow study was. You must also decide whether to believe the copper oxide pillow hype, or stick with more tried and true methods such as skin creams and skin serums that promise to decrease wrinkles (such as the Regenerist line by Olay). Of course, if you are contemplating more severe, invasive methods of reducing wrinkles, such as Botox injections, buying a copper oxide pillow is much cheaper and potentially safer.
It is yet to be determined just how successful copper oxide pillows are at erasing the signs of aging. Remember, your cage can also be a beautiful thing. While our culture and mainstream media likes to promote the image of youth as a beauty ideal, our consumer culture has gone too far in trying to hide the signs of aging. Grow old beautifully, not under the knife.

Post a CommentI've heard DreamSkin Pillowcases are better...but can't say for myself. Either way I think its a great idea
how do we buy one of these pillowcases in order to try for ourselves?
Costs $30 USD.
Good article--I still haven't been told how much this pillow costs. Is it as hard as the "copper-oxide" leads you to believe? I want comfort. If you want to erase wrinkles try juvederm or other type of filler that lasts 1+ years.
