Lehticia Leo
It seems that ever since the script of Gossip Girl has turned actress Taylor Momsen's character, Jenny Humphrey, into a rebellious teenager she has been

wearing rebellious bad girl makeup as opposed to usual sweet and simple everyday makeup. Jenny Humphrey's eye makeup has gotten darker and darker with each episode that comes. To get little Jenny Humphrey's bad girl makeup, read on for some useful tips.

Eyes

Jenny Humphrey's eye makeup is usually a smoky eye. The color of the smoky eye is in the dark grey and black family. Jenny's eyes are lined either in heavy smudged kohl black eyeliner or dramatic black liquid liner. To get the Jenny Humphrey eye makeup look, you will need an eye shadow pallet of dark grey and black eye shadows, black liquid or kohl eye liner and a heavy duty mascara. First create the smoky eye look by applying kohl eyeliner and smudging it around a bit, next apply your darkest shade of eye shadow on top of the smudged eye liner. Cover your entire eyelid with a slightly lighter eye shadow than the one you used to go over the eye liner, and then on your brow bone apply the lightest shade of grey. Once every eye shadow is applied blend those together so it looks like a gradual build up and there are no harsh lines. After blending, apply black liquid eye liner on the top lash line and wing out the ends a bit, apply kohl liner to the lower lash line and smudge.

Lips and Face

Jenny Humphrey's lips are usually painted in an understated color because her eyes are the true attention grabber. To mimic Jenny Humphrey's lip look apply a lip moisturizer and then apply a sheer pink lipstick in a natural tone. To finish off the look go over the lipstick with a non shimmery lip gloss. Jenny Humphrey's face makeup is always seamless and simple. The Gossip Girl makeup artists do not apply bronzer or anything to dramatize certain features. Jenny Humphrey's face makeup is light, airy and serves the sole purpose of covering her blemishes and even out her skin tone. To get this simple look simply apply concealer on your blemishes and under eye circles and foundation just where you need it (not all over your face). Choose a blush in a light subtle pink and sweep across your cheeks towards your temples.
