With it being the home of the University of Miami, it's to be expected that you'll have access to a plethora of entertainment, shopping, dining and cultural options. Founded in the 1920s, this Florida town is home to a rich history and it shows with some of the beautiful historic architecture. Old churches, historic mansions and museums pave the way for a truly educational, and enriching, stay in this city. Guess what: Coral Gables, Florida is home to the historic, and haunted, Biltmore Hotel. It's a luxury hotel that was built in 1926, and is quite famously rumored to be one of the most haunted places in the Southern United States.

Coral Gables is described as a "pedestrian friendly" city, making it easy to simply backpack through the town so you can optimize your touring experience. Backpacking through this college town shows you the sights that everyone gets to see, both local and visiting. What a rich experience!
