Coreen Wiese: Missing Since November 8th

Help Bring Her Home

Grace Smith
On the morning of November 8th 2006, Coreen Faye Wiese woke up to the same routine as everyday. Her parents thought nothing of her leaving that is until she never returned home. By sis-thirty that night her dad call the police and reported her missing. As most missing person calls the police had to wait until the next day to make sure she was really missing. She never showed up at her house again. That was 55 days ago, and nobody has seen or heard from Coreen since November 8th.Coreen is 5' 3" weighing about 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She has braces; wire rimmed glasses and a scar on her left cheek. She was born on July 22, 1991. Also she is epileptic, and has no medication with her.

Coreen was last seen leaving a Townlines Billiards on RT. 25; where she had gone in to warm herself. Then left again on foot in the rain. During the search on November 10th more then 100 volunteers search a five-mile radius around her house. While searching the banks of the Saco River, they found scratched into the rusty bridge post the letters R.I.P. and C.W. with Coreen's date of birth and the date she disappeared. This to some looked like a suicide. Later research would reveal another note Coreen had written at her home. Coreen's cell phone and MP3 player were found nearby on a steel beam. That is where the trail of Coreen ends. Officer Mike Grovo refuses to believe that she committed suicide. He wants to believe that there is still hope that she ran away. Officials have also noted that it was unlikely an abduction due to the number of people who saw her over the period of the day. David Rogers, who worked for the Missing Children's Task Force in Colorado, said that Coreen really didn't fit the teen runaway profile. Rogers said that most runaways tell a close friend about where they will be and why they are going; in this case nothing was said.

The FBI also stepped in to help with the search setting up a hot line for tips. The Wieses' computer was taken to have the hard drive examined for any evidence of Coreen's "runaway", nothing much was found. Police even turned to Psychics. Officer Grovo said, "I'm trying every possible avenue to find this girl, I'm open to anything." He also said "I'm not giving up until we find her." Coreen's story was to be shown on the hit Tv series 'Without a Trace' on Sunday December 10th at 10 pm, but was postponed until a later date. Her family and friends have set up a website to help bring her home. WWW.COREENWIESE.COM On this site you can print posters to hang in your car, or hang in your workplace. Mr. Wiese has hopes that the more poster around for people to see the better the chance of having his little girl come home.
