Coreopsis Poem

Sandy James
Colorful Coreopsis is nice and bright;
Otherwise known as Tickseed;
Radiant colors of yellow and yellow-orange;
Exciting and bright addition to the garden;
Occupies a small space in full sun;
Petals are fluted and attract butterflies;
Showy among blues and purples;
Is a perennial and xeriscape plant;
Season of bloom is all summer long.
