Corey Haim, Hollywodo Actor Dead at 38

A Review of His Work Through the Years

Sulli
Corey Ian Haim was born on December 23, 1971 in Toronto, Canada. He became a Hollywood actor, often troubles by substance abuse in his later years. This all came to an end March 10, 2010, as the actor passed away at the age of 38 years old. Corey Haim had been in many movies, starting in the 1980's until present. Not all of them were notable roles with some roles being straight to video movies. He also acted in many TV movies and shows. There was even a video game where Haim lent his voice as one of the characters. Corey Haim was also thought of as a teen heartthrob in the 1980's as well by many teenage girls.

Here is a list and tribute to the career of Corey Haim broken down by movies, TV shows and movies and straight to video roles.

Movies:

Firstborn (1984), Secret Admirer (1985), Silver Bullet (1985),Murphy's Romance (1985), Lucas (1986), The Lost Boys (1987), Watchers (1988), License to Drive (1988), Dream a Little Dream (1989), The Dream Machine (1990), Fast Getaway (1991), Prayer of the Rollerboys (1991), The Back Lot Murders (2002), Universal Groove (2007), Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008), Crank: High Voltage (2009), Shark City (2009), Terminal Hotel (2009), American Sunset (2009), Trade In (2009), The Girl (2010), The Pick Up (2010), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003)

I think his role in The Lost Boys is what really got his career rolling in Hollywood.

TV:

The Edison Twins (1982), A Time to Live (1985), Roomies (1987), Without Malice (2000), Merlin (1998), The Two Coreys (2007)

The Two Corey's ran for 2 seasons. A third season was to be planned, but Corey Feldman refused to work with Corey Haim until he became clean and sober once and for all.

Straight to Video:

Oh, What a Night (1992), The Double 0 Kid (1992), Blown Away (1992), Anything for Love (1993), Fast Getaway II (1994), National Lampoon's Last Resort (1994), Dream a Little Dream 2 (1995), Life 101 (1995), Snowboard Academy (1996), Shooter on the Side (1996), Fever Lake (1996), Demolition High (1996), Busted (1996), Never Too Late (1997), Demolition University (1997)

Video Games:

Double Switch (1993)

As you can see, his career started in 1982 and went all the way through to his death. Corey Haim also had several projects that were in the pre-production stages at the time of his death. He was directing, producing, or acting in each of these projects, sometimes doing a combination of the 3.

This is sad. I'll be interested in seeing the results of the autopsy. Police said there were no drugs at the scene.

Another tragic loss due to Hollywood's fast and loose lifestyle.
