Golfing can be used to entertain guests or for a weekend activity outside the office. Corporate golf gifts are widely popular because they promote this activity within the corporate setting. Although everyone certainly does not play golf, corporate golf gifts make excellent ideas for Christmas, birthdays and special occasions.
1. Golf-Themed Desk Accessories
Corporate offices are rather boring without desk accessories to lighten the mood. Golf-themed desk accessories are relatively inexpensive corporate gifts that can be given to just about anyone. Picture frames, pencil holders, business card stands and even golf lamps are popular corporate golf gift ideas.
2. Golf-Themed Printed Materials
Subscriptions to Golf Digest or other golf publications are excellent corporate gift ideas. Golf stationary, business cards, letterhead and newsletter fillers are also good ideas for any time of year. Printed materials allow the recipient to use the golf gift in any way they please.
3. Golf Accessories
How about ordering a few golf tees with the corporate name on the head? Or even golf balls with the names of executive officers or the name of the company? You can personalize just about anything related to golf, which makes them more than just a generic golf gift.
4. Golf Towels
Personalized or even just regular golf towels would be a great gift if you aren't sure that everyone in the office enjoys golf. Golf towels can be used for other things - hand towels and the like - so you can't go wrong. Many companies will monogram golf towels for a personal touch.
5. Golf Passes
If everyone in the office enjoys the occasional (or frequent) golf trip, golf passes would be an excellent corporate gift. Even just a free golf cart rental at a local golf course will be appreciated, or you could purchase one-day golf passes that includes balls, carts and one round of golf.
No matter what type of corporate golf gift you choose, make sure to shop around. Some companies will offer discounts on bulk orders so you save when you purchase golf gifts for everyone. Others offer discounts on monograms or other personalization tools when you order in bulk.
Also, be sure that you are only giving exclusively golf gifts to people who enjoy playing or watching the sport. You might offend that guy in the corner who hates golf and would rather watch baseball.
