Corrections Concepts Inc. Sponsors Benefit Concert

Richardson, TX - On Sunday, April 26th, Corrections Concepts, Inc. (CCI) is sponsoring a concert benefiting the establishment of Habilitation House, a proposed faith-based work ethic correctional facility. CCI Chairman, Bill Robinson, is a stalwart advocate for implementing a faith-based pre-release habilitation program throughout our nation's penal systems. He has been the driving force behind 17 years of legal research seeking safe passage through the U.S. Constitution's requirements for separation of church and state while adhering to the financial markets' funding guidelines to raise the required capital investment at no risk to the local communities.

After many years, Mr. Robinson is nearing the completion of his self-professed Divinely inspired quest. An ordained minister, Mr. Robinson is the first to admit, "I'm only the messenger." He believes our nation is facing a penal crisis. Without habilitating our nation's convicted criminals, he is convinced the existing overcrowded facilities will continue to be nothing more than a revolving door for offenders released without job skills and possessing little hope of gainful employment. According to an April 23, 2008 NY Times report, "The United States has less than 5 percent of the world's population. But it has almost a quarter of the world's prisoners." This exorbitant cost in a financial, personal, and national context is not only unsustainable, but what a terrible legacy to leave for future generations. As a nation, we must do better. The time is NOW.

The Heights Baptist Church, located in The Heights neighborhood at Renner Rd. and US Hwy 75 in Richardson, TX, is proudly hosting the benefit concert, featuring Dr. Jimmy Draper, President Emeritus Lifeway Christian Resources, as the featured guest speaker with musical performance by The Metro Praise Orchestra. The dessert reception commences at 6:30 pm. The concert will begin at 7:30 pm. Admission is free. However, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute a love offering.
