Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket lip gloss has an interesting and fun design to it. It makes me think of one of those pen with bikini clad ladies in them that can be found in certain types of stores. The difference here is that the lip glosses have men inside the cap, and when you tilt it back and forth the men strip down to their undies. I find it hilarious but probably wouldn't try using it while in public. The lip glosses come in several different colors, and each color with a different man.
As for the lip gloss itself, I liked the thick, silky texture to it. I was surprised on the pigmentation and staying power considering it's a lip gloss. The pigmentation was really good, and showed up very close to what it looked like in the tube. The staying power wasn't bad either, it stayed on much longer than any lip gloss I've ever used. I loved how nourishing and moisturizing Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket lip gloss is. It didn't dry out my lips, nor did it accentuate any of the lines. I liked the brush too, it came with a brush that's ideal for blending, much like a lip brush. The best part is that it's a very size and shape to stick in your pocket. This product is also cruelty-free, and there are some vegan friendly ones too, which are marked with a purple paw.
The only things that turned me off about Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket lip gloss was the taste and smell, and the price. A tube of this lip gloss cost $19! For being what it is, no matter how good the product, I just don't think it's worth spending close to $20 on. It smelled strange too, I know what it's suppose to smell like but it just smelled like medicine. The taste was strange too. At first there was no taste and then once the lip gloss sits on my lips for about a minute it starts to taste like Aspirin.
My overall impression of Urban Decay's Pocket Rocket lip gloss was that it's a good product with many positive attributes, but the cons to me outweigh the pros completely. I would only ever purchase this product again if it were on sale. It's not really a must-have product, and I don't think it's worth spending that much money on.

Post a CommentHey Lome!
I usually get them at ULTA or Sephora. There's no Sephora here though, but I was lucky that I moved here when they just opened up an ULTA. Plus ULTA doesn't seem to be as busy. Or you can order online. Usually ULTA and Sephora offers free shipping after you purchase a certain amount, it comes with free samples of stuff, and there's always some sort of deal going on. :)
Where do you buy these makeups from?? I love makeup but I hate shopping for them, especially at the stores.
