Cosmetic Review: Urban Decay Brow Box

There are so many different makeup brands on the market today that it can often be almost impossible to choose one that's right for you. There are different things you should look for when choosing a makeup brand. For one the products should be high quality. If you find yourself constantly throwing out your makeup products because they dry out or crack, you've probably found a bad product or brand. Also, makeup products should be gentle on your skin. They shouldn't cause you to break out what so ever.

A few years ago I discovered a really great brand. It happened almost by accident; I was browsing the internet for new eyeshadows when I stumbled upon Urban Decay. It was all uphill from there. I purchased my eyeshadows (I now have over 15 of them) and much more. Now I love Urban Decay for a variety of different reasons. Urban Decay uses gentle formulas that don't clog pores. They are also completely vegan and don't use any animal products in their cosmetics and other items.

Recently I wanted to find a new way to highlight my eyebrows. I have dark brown hair but my eyebrows are a very light brown. I wanted to be able to color my eyebrows so they match my hair color a little bit better. One day I received an email from Urban Decay regarding their new products. My eyes immediately saw the Urban Decay Brow Box, an eyebrow taming and coloring system. I decided to purchase the Brow Box in "Beige Betty" (aka medium brown) for $29. Inside the eyebrow kit comes two shades of brown, a brow brush, a container of wax to keep brows in place, and tweezers.

When I received the Urban Decay Brow Box in the mail from Urban Decay's website, I knew I needed to try it out. I decided to use the tweezers first to clean up my brows and then I picked up the brush. I wanted a more natural color so I went with the lighter shade. I dabbed the brush in the lighter color of brown and then applied it over my eyebrows. Instantly I could see a darkening in color. I continued to sweep the color over my eyebrows until they were completely even with color. I stepped back and looked in the mirror. My eyebrows looked great! They were definitely darker than before and even matched my hair a bit better.

Over all I would rate the Urban Decay Brow Box a 5/5. I simply love this product! It works great for taming and coloring eyebrows. I also discovered it comes with a great pair of tweezers. The wax container is also very helpful too, especially if you have longer eyebrows that need taming throughout the day. I would highly recommend the Urban Decay Brow Box for anyone who wants to give a more dramatic look to their eyebrows. Additionally this product lasts a long time even if you use it every day. The darker shade also works really well for a night look when you really want a dramatic look!
