Cosmetic Review: Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion

One thing I love about Urban Decay is their large variety of products; they literally have a product for everyone. Another great thing about Urban Decay is that they promote ethical standards in the cosmetics industry. Many of their products are vegan, meaning they don't test anything on animals and there are no animal products in their cosmetics and other items. Upon first glance Urban Decay seems like a high-end and pricey brand, but the truth is that Urban Decay is well worth the price because they deliver and produce high quality products.

Urban Decay is especially known for their mascara, known as the Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara. I absolutely love this product and I also know many other people who swear by it and wear it daily. While I don't always wear mascara, I usually wear it during special events and nights out. However, even though Urban Decay makes a great mascara, I still have problems with my mascara running while I'm sweating on the dance floor or am outdoors for a summer wedding. I've always had this problem with mascara, so many times I opt out on using it and my lashes remain drab and plain.

Since Urban Decay is always coming out with new products, I'm constantly checking their site for the next best thing. One of their more recent products is the Eyelash Primer Potion. When I first saw it on their site, I immediately clicked the link and learned what this amazing product was all about. According to Urban Decay, the Eyelash Primer Potion is a protein-rich and paraben-free formula that helps thicken lashes while created a base coat before you apply your actual mascara. Apparently it also helps keep mascara in its place too, which is exactly what I was looking for. I decided to take the $20 plunge and purchase the 0.30 fl oz. Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion. It would actually turn out to be one of my best Urban Decay purchases.

Upon receiving my Eyelash Primer Potion, I immediately decided to try it out. I first curled my eyelashes with an eyelash curler and then swept the small wand of product over my lashes. It's a clear liquid and it dries quickly too so your lashes don't remain wet. Then I applied my Big Fatty Mascara and let it set. I hit the town that night and after a few hours I noticed my mascara wasn't running or anything! No smudging either! I was pleasantly surprised too, especially this was the first eyelash and mascara primer I've ever tried or even heard of!

Over all, I was very happy with my purchase of the Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion. I would easily rate the product a 5/5. It's a great way to keep your mascara from running and I've even tried it with waterproof mascara, which works even better. I would highly recommend this product to anyone for their wedding or times when you might be sweating or have watery eyes. It's a great product and it's obvious that Urban Decay has done it again!
