Cosmetic Review: Urban Decay Liquid Liner
One thing that most women do every day is put on makeup. There are so many different makeup brands on the market today too and it can be difficult to choose a brand or product. One cosmetic brand that I swear by is Urban Decay. I've been using Urban Decay for a few years now and I absolutely love it. They make tons of high-quality products that are very versatile and ethically-conscious. For one, Urban Decay makes a fabulous eyeshadow in practically every color you could think of. They make some great matte and neutral eyeshadows that can be worn during work or during the day and they make some gutsy wild colors that can be worn at a nightclub or an evening out on the town. As previously stated, Urban Decay is very ethically-conscious in the sense that they're completely vegan and their products are free of any animal products. One line of vegan products that I love from Urban Decay is their makeup brushes. They have a liner brush, a blush brush, a shadow brush, and many more. However, these aren't your regular brushes. In fact, none of their brushes are made from animal hair. Instead they use synthetic fibers that work wonders.

Needless to say, whenever I need a new makeup product I turn to Urban Decay almost immediately. Recently I became interested in liquid eyeliner. Many of my friends use liquid eyeliners and it makes their eyes look great. I've never tried a liquid liner before, but I figured why not? I already loved my Urban Decay pencil eyeliners that when I saw the collection of Urban Decay Liquid Liners on the Urban Decay website, I knew I had to get one. The Liquid Liner collection comes in 14 different colors, but since I almost always use black liner, I decided to purchase "perversion" (aka black) from the website. The 0.25 fl oz. bottle retails for $18 at UrbanDecay.com.

When I received the Urban Decay Liquid Liner in the mail, I immediately wanted to incorporate it into my beauty routine. I washed my face and laid out all my makeup that I was planning to use. I put on my foundation, my blush, my lipgloss, and finally I opened the bottle of Urban Decay Liquid Liner. The eyeliner itself is a paint-like texture and it smells similar too. I followed the instructions carefully and painted over the area beneath my eye in a straight line. The liner went on flawless. It took just one sweep below my lash line and I had perfect eyeliner. The next test would be whether it would last all day. I let the eyeliner dry and then applied the rest of my makeup. During the day my eyes water a lot because I wear contacts. Surprisingly the Urban Decay Liquid Liner stayed in place very well and I only had to reapply it once.

Over all, I would rate the Urban Decay Liquid Liner a 4/5. It's a decent eyeliner and it works really well. It lasts for a good part of the day too. However, I have to dock one point because of the smell. The paint smell is just off-putting. One bonus though is that this liner comes in a variety of different colors, so there is something for everyone.
