Cosmetic Review: Urban Decay XXX Shine Lip Gloss

When I'm in need of a new makeup product I know just where to turn. It's always Urban Decay! Urban Decay is known for high-quality products that definitely deliver what they promise. Urban Decay is known for a lot of its products too. If it's one product they're known for though it's their eyeshadow primer potion. While this makeup product has put Urban Decay on the map, they have tons of other great cosmetics items. Additionally, Urban Decay is known for being ethically-conscious, especially when it comes to being animal-friendly. Urban Decay promises to never test on animals and most of their products are completely vegan and don't use any animal products. A great example of this is their brand new line of makeup brushes, which includes an eyeshadow brush, and blush brush and many more. These brushes are made completely of synthetic fibers and never animal hair. So if you're looking for a high-quality or vegan product, Urban Decay is a great place to turn.

Recently I wanted to find a new a new lip gloss. Normally I don't wear lip glosses, but I wanted to find one that would bring out the natural color of my lips while giving it a nice shine. I've had horrible luck in the past with lip glosses. Most of them just feel caked on my lips and leave stains on napkins and glasses. Additionally, most of they lip glosses I've tried in the past have worn off relatively quickly and leave my lips dull and boring looking. This time I wanted to find a lip gloss that would work and last. So when I decided I was going to buy a new lip gloss, I immediately turned to Urban Decay's website to find the perfect product.

As soon as I hopped on to Urban Decay's website and went to the lip section, I saw the XXX Shine Lip Gloss. I've heard great things about Urban Decay's XXX Shine Lip Gloss, so I decided to try it out and purchase the product from UrbanDecay.com for $16. Because I wanted a more natural look, I chose the color "Carney," which is a lovely shimmery pink.

When I received the Urban Decay XXX Shine Lip Gloss, I immediately wanted to try it out. It comes in an easy-to-apply tube that you simply squeeze. I dabbed just a little bit on my lips and then rubbed my lips together to get the color over my lips evenly. I looked in the mirror and immediately saw gorgeous lips. They were pink and shimmery and just natural looking. I was also able to incorporate the lip gloss into my makeup routine fairly easily. As for the XXX Shine Lip Gloss lasting all day, it definitely didn't disappoint. While it didn't last all day, I only had to reapply once.

Over all, I would rate Urban Decay XXX Shine Lip Gloss a 5/5. It's simply a great lip gloss that comes in some great shades and colors. There is simply a color for everyone. While $16 may be steep for a lip gloss, it's well worth it in this case. I highly suggest this product to anyone in need of a great new gloss!
