On the Cosmopolitan site, you are able to try on different celebrity hairstyles such as Christina Aguilera, Drew Barrymore, Beyonce Knowles, Eva Longoria, etc. Clicking on the the celebrities allows you to virtually try out different looks with out even touching your actual hair.

The downside for the site is that all the looks you can try out are celebrity looks. Some seem very styled, some curly, some straight but all of them are very realistic unless you are a hairstylist or have someone to do your hair every day. The upside to the site is that you can switch the colors to see which ones work best with your skin tone. Once you find a hairstyle and color that you like, you can print out a before and after picture.

The advantage to printing out a before and after picture is that you can bring it in to your stylist to show them exactly what you want. This gives you the confidence that they style will look good with your face shape and bone structure. Also, that the color will look good with your skin tone.
