When people think of Costa Rica one thing firmly comes to mind. Beaches. Of course, beaches are the most naturalist among everything else because there are more than 50 beaches to visit. The Caribbean beaches are very beautiful and so very clear. You can see the fish in the water swimming around.
Everyone loves a great museum filled with animals, history or beautiful butterflies. Sometimes you can even find museum covered with exotic flowers. If this is you, you'll enjoy all the gardens and museums that Costa Rica has. One popular museum is the Cartago Museum; it was founded in 1933 and has more than 800 pre-Columbia archeological objects and other artifacts from the colonial period on display.
If you love beautiful flowers as much as I do, you'll love Botanical Gardens. The Botanical Gardens of Costa Rica offers 27 acres of garden trails. There are more than a thousand different kinds of plants.
Volcanoes are exciting whether they are active or not. Some of the most famous ones are those that are still active like the Arenal Volcano. The Arenal Volcano is most popular because during the night you can see the lava flow down the sides. It is rated one of the three most perfect cone-shaped volcanos in the world. Kept silent for 400 years, it erupted in 1968 and has been active since.
When thinking of visiting Costa Rica, it might be best to wait and go from December through April. This is considered Costa Rica's summer, so you will find more fun in the sun stuff and less rain.
Looking for a place to stay while visiting beautiful Costa Rica? Try Las Brisas del Pacifico. Las Brisas Del Pacifico is a beach front resort and hotel with plenty of fun and services provided to make your stay, a great one! Enjoy their restaurant, a full service bar, a Jacuzzi or you and your love or just you and two huge swimming pools.
