Costa Rican Sensation Debi Nova to Release Debut Album "Luna Nueva"

Debi Nova is a Costa Rican sensation and her North American debut album, "Luna Nueva" is set for release this spring. Nova is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist talent; she has been getting her first full-length album ready for over a decade. While doing this Debi Nova has also been able to amass a very impressive body of work plus six Grammy-nominated projects in addition to a #1 single "One Rhythm" which reached #1 in Latin America and on the U.S. dance charts. She has had collaborations with Ricky Martin and Black Eyed Peas along with has touring the world.

Debi Nova is now ready to win over the U.S. with her debut album that incorporates both English and Spanish. The album "Luna Nueva" is an exhilarating arrangement of appealing Latin rhythms and pop-smarts that will showcase Debi Nova's considerable musical gifts. Nova plays guitar, bass, piano, timbales and much more. As well as expressing her rich Latin heritage.

Nova has an acclaimed producing team behind her. Two-time Oscar winner and founder of Surco Records Gustavo Santaoalla. Santaolla is no stranger to success and is an eleven-time Grammy winner and credits include Café Tacuba, Julieta Venegas and many more. A five-time Grammy Award nominee and two-time BAFTA winner Marius de Vries shares producing credits on "Luna Nueva". de Vries resume includes production with Björk, Massive Attack, Josh Groban and Madonna. The first single off the album "Drummer Boy" is a saucy and infections song that was written by Debi Nova and produced by Dreamlab & de Vries.

Nova has been performing professionally and writing music since she was 14. She signed her first songwriting deal when she was 17 and wrote songs for Latin recording artists RBD. Seal Paul, Belinda, Mark Ronson and more. Nova also co-wrote and performed the song "Latin Girls" on the Grammy-nominated Black Eyed Peas album "Elephunk". Nova was also invited to duet with Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin on his CD "Life" for two tracks, "Que Más Dá" and "Drop It On Me". She also appeared in the music videos and as a featured vocalist on his world tour.
