Or maybe you just can't afford the expensive costumes they sell in stores.
Yet again you may just be plain lazy!
So no matter what your situation is check out these 15 quick and easy to make costumes!
1. Ceiling Fan - Write "Go Ceilings!" on the front of your shirt. And don't forget to cheer!
2. Nudist on Strike - Dress in normal clothes and carry a sign that says "Nudist on Strike."
3. Autograph Book - Wear a white shirt and pants. Carry a Sharpie pen and have people sign you!
4. Birthday Suit - Wear a suit (dress if you female) and a birthday hat. Carry a horn or kazoo and sing/hum "Happy Birthday" to yourself!
5. Nick Nolte's Mug Shot - Wear a Hawaiian shirt. Put tons of gel and baby oil in your hair and blow dry it upside down making it look as crazy as possible. Hang a small sign around your neck that says "Nolte, Nick" with a case number.
6. Substitute Teacher - Dress like a teacher (hair up in a bun, skirt and sweater, glasses on a chain around your neck). Then, stick a paper airplane in the back of your hair, put a note that says "Kick Me" on your back, cover your hands and face with chalk, and put chalk eraser prints on your clothes. Attach staples and paperclips to your clothes, with broken pencils sticking out here and there.
7. Sick as a Dog - Dress up in a bathrobe. Have tissues and medicine sticking out of your pockets, thermometer in your mouth, icepack for your head, etc. Carry a stuffed dog. (Optional) Make dog ears and a tail out of brown cloth and wear a dog collar that says "Spike" or something.
8. Chick Magnet - Attach Barbie dolls all over yourself.
9. Sunburned Tourist - Dress like a tourist with Hawaiian shirt, Bermuda shorts, cameras around your neck, black socks with sandals, etc. Use makeup to give yourself a bright red sunburn.
10. Vincent Van Gogh - Dress up in an artist smock and beret. Carry a paintbrush, palette, or even a Van Gogh painting. Cover one ear with bandages.
11. Lame Excuse - Wear signs on front and back reading something like "The check is in the mail" or " I tried to call you.? Wrap your foot in bandages and use crutches
12. Medicine Chest - Wear white clothing, and hot glue items you would find in your medicine cabinet (q-tips, band-aids, cotton balls, comb, medicine bottles, disposable razor, toothbrush, etc.).
13. Mary from "There's Something About Mary" - Wear a red dress. Use hair gel to make your bangs stick straight up. Carry a fully-bandaged stuffed dog.
14. Raining Cats and Dogs - Attach an assortment of small stuffed cats and dogs to an umbrella. Wear a rain coat and rain boots.
15. Person Walking Backwards - Wear clothes backwards. Cover your face with a black scarf you can see through. Place a mask on the back of your head. It will look like you are walking backwards!
If all else fails you always just get a plain white shirt and write "This is my costume".
